But some dipshits started spamming with crossovers so now I can’t make my post without looking like I’m hitching my wagon to the idiot train. Have this instead:

You have been saved from yourself.

Not only that, it would be off the 1st page within 30 seconds anyways.
I’m curious to read it, not because I agree with you, but because my wife went from a 2011 RX to a 2015 X3, and will likely go back to the RX next November- and I’m not that knowledgeable about the new generation.

Yeah, because if there’s anything I love more than a theme day with single picture entries every 25 seconds, it’s one featuring beige crossovers and Camrys.

It’s way pricier than the last one, we’re talking like a $560/mo lease on a good day, but holy shit is it worth it. It’s put together so nicely, wears the styling GREAT, and the F Sport and Lux have some genuinely cool toys to play with.

The wife and I strongly looked at a new RX (I’m a Toyota owner from way back) and we wanted to like them but could not get past the hourglass grill. The rest of the car exterior and interior is great but that grill just turned us off of the vehicle. Ultimately went with a 2017 Acura MDX SH-AWD (she is a Honda girl). Really like it. Rather safe in the styling but it appealed to us more and we got a 3rd row where as the RX didn’t offer that.

LWB 3 row RX is coming in 2018. Give it a look next time.

Rx 350 is pretty good. Its every bit as good as a BMW crossover minus the headaches.

I sat in one last week when I took my car in for service and the interior is far nicer than the last generation. That one was fairly loaded but wasn’t an f sport.
And yeah, it does seem like the sticker prices have jumped up a notch, but I wasn’t sure if it was just in how it was optioned out.

It’s better.

Well you’ve also got new features like radar cruise, pre collision, and active lane keeping.

Aaand since the primary occupants of this vehicle will be my wife and 4 month old, I’m good with those features.

It is going to be awhile, we tend to keep the cars we get for quite awhile. I still have my first truck and her Accord which the MDX replaced was 12 years old and is going to extended family. I will do a comparison for sure, always looking.

That faux floating C-pillar tho.
I suppose once you are inside, you can’t see the outside.

Who’s your Lexus dealer if you don’t mind me asking?

I don’t mind - Woodfield Lexus in Schaumburg, IL. I live 5 minutes from a different dealer, but was very happy with how Woodfield treated me when I got my car 18 months ago.

They are, quite literally, too ugly to own.
